Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

The VP3 gene of rotavirus A (RV-A) encodes the mRNA capping enzyme (Kumar et al. 2020: rabbit RV-A strain 30-96 was used; Pizarro et al. 1991: simian RV-A strain SA11 and human RV-L , rotavirus L, were used; Liu et al. 1992: simian RV-A strain SA11 was used; Chen et al. 1999: simian RV-A strain SA11 was used) which forms a homotetramer (Kumar et al. 2020). VP3 protein of human RV-A Wa strain is 835 amino acids long, with highly conserved catalytic domains (Cook and McCrae 2004; Silva et al. 2016).

The simultaneous interaction of NSP3 with RV-A mRNAs and the EIF4F complex is required for efficient mRNA translation (Vende et al. 2000, Gratia et al. 2015).
