Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | Interferon-induced protein with tetratricopeptide repeats 2 (IFIT2) binds to adenylate-uridylate (AU)-rich regions located in the 3′-UTRs of cellular messenger RNAs (mRNAs) (Yang Z et al., 2012; Tran V et al., 2020), including numerous interferon-stimulated genes (ISG) (Tran V et al., 2020). While IFIT2 typically enhances translation of host antiviral mRNAs by preventing ribosomal pausing, influenza virus exploits this antiviral function of IFIT2 to boost its own mRNA translation (Tran V et al., 2020). CLIP-seq demonstrated that IFIT2 binds directly to viral positive-sense mRNAs in AU-rich regions but not to genomic vRNA (Tran V et al., 2020). |
