Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | GMNC and TP73 are both critical regulators of multiciliogenesis and share a number of downstream targets (Nemajerova et al, 2016; Marshall et al, 2016; Arbi et al, 2016; Kyrousi et al, 2015; Terre et al, 2016; reviewed in Lewis and Stracker, 2021; Arbi et al, 2018; Nemajerova et al, 2018). GMNC interacts with TP73 through the coiled-coil and C-terminal regions of GMNC (Lalioti et al, 2019). Studies in HEK293 cells show that GMNC, TP73 and E2F5 form a ternary complex that is required for transcriptional regulation of GMNC-dependent targets during multiciliogenesis, including the TP73 gene itself (Lalioti et al, 2019). Recruitment of E2F5 to the complex depends on the GMNC C-terminus (Lalioti et al, 2019). The complex is recruited to the TP73 promoter through E2F5 binding sites (Lalioti et al, 2019). |
