Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | DENV genomic RNA can be transferred by extracellular vesicles (EVs) from mosquito to mammalian and human cells (Vora et al., 2018), and DENV subgenomic RNA can be transferred by EVs from BHK cells to various cell types (Ishikawa et al., 2024; reviewed in Athira et al., 2024). Import of EVs containing DENV NGC subgenomic replicon RNA into recipient cells was found to be primarily through macropinocytosis in HeLa cells, and might involve interaction with CD33 (in HeLa cells), or involve interaction with Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 1 (HAVCR1, TIM1) and T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain-containing protein 4 (TIMD4, TIM4) in K562 cells (Ishikawa et al., 2024). It is unknown how many cells take up RNA-carrying EVs during Dengue infection and how many cells become virus-producing through this process. |
