Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| literatureReference | [LiteratureReference:6787523] Trmt61B is a methyltransferase responsible for 1-methyladenosine at position 58 of human mitochondrial tRNAs |
| text | TRMT61B methylates the N1 position in adenosine residues of tRNA (Chujo and Suzuki 2012) and mRNA (Li et al. 2017). TRMT61B methylates the adenosine-371 residue of the MT-ND1 mRNA. N1-methyladenosine in mitochondrial mRNA appears to cause ribosome stalling that results in reduced translation (Li et al. 2017). TRMT61B forms large homooligomeric complexes that are presumed to contain homotetramers (Chujo and Suzuki 2012, also PDB 2B25). |
