Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | Phosphorylated Bmal1:Clock binds E-boxes in the promoter of the Dbp gene and activates transcription (Ripperger et al. 2000, Yamaguchi et al. 2000, Ripperger and Schibler 2006, Stratmann et al. 2010). Dbp protein then binds D-boxes in promoters of circadian genes such as Per1 and enhances transcription (Yamaguchi et al. 2000, Yoshitane et al. 2019). Dbp is expressed in a circadian rhythm in the suprachiasmatic nucleus (Lopez-Molina et al. 1997, Yan et al. 2000, Yamaguchi et al. 2000). Levels of Dbp mRNA are highest in the morning (Yan et al. 2000, Yamaguchi et al. 2000). |
