Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | PIN-FORMED 2 (PIN2), a transporter in the plasma membrane, is involved in the basipetal polar auxin transport that plays a positive role in gravitropism. VILLIN2 (VLN2) protein is involved in recycling PIN2 auxin transporter between endosome and plasma membrane ((Wu et al., 2015; Kirschner et al., 2024). A rice vln2 mutant has a hyper-gravitropic phenotype (twisted roots and shoots) caused by faster recycling of OsPIN2, and thereby altered auxin distribution. VLN2 is involved in actin filament bundling, severing, and capping in a calcium-dependent manner. The VLN2 promotes anti-gravitropic growth (negative gravitropism). |
