Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

textThe ChuA receptor of pathogenic E.coli (UPEC) imports heme to the periplasm. It belongs to the TonB-dependent receptors. Needed energy probably comes from the TonB:ExbB:ExbD receptor energizer residing in the inner membrane, which uses the proton-motive force in an antiport mechanism (Torres & Payne, 1997; Torres et al., 2001; Koh et al. 2015; reviewed in Brewitz et al., 2016). In E.coli O6:H1 (UPEC) the Hma receptor has the role of ChuA (Hagan & Mobley, 2009; reviewed in Brewitz et al., 2016).
