Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | MITF-M interacts with CREBBP and EP300 to activate expression at target genes (Sato et al, 1997; Brown et al, 2023 a,b). Interaction is mediated by two transactivation domains (TAD) in MITF-M, one at the N-terminal and one in the disordered C-terminal region ((Sato et al, 1997; Brown et al, 2023 a,b). Both regions of MITF-M interact with the TAZ1 and TAZ2 domains of the histone acetyltransferases (Brown et al, 2023 a,b). Some studies have shown that the interaction between MITF and CREBBP and EP300 is enhanced by MAPK1-dependent phosphorylation of MITF-M at serine 73, however other studies have not reproduced this effect (Price et al, 1998; Xu et al, 2000; Sato et al, 1997) |
