Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | Rora, Rorb, or Rorc bind ROR responsive elements (RREs, ROREs) in the Bmal1 promoter and activate transcription of Bmal1 (Ueda et al. 2002, Nakajima et al. 2004, Sato et al. 2004, Akashi and Takumi 2005, Guillaumond et al. 2005, Takeda et al. 2012). Rora and presumably Rorb and Rorc recruit coactivators p300 (Ep300) and PGC-1alpha (Ppargc1a) to positively regulate transcription (Lau et al. 2004, Liu et al. 2007). The heme receptor Nr1d1 (Rev-erba) competes with the Ror proteins for binding to the same RREs (Yin and Lazar 2005). Nr1d1 recruits the corepressors NCoR and Hdac3 to repress transcription of Bmal1 (Preitmer et al. 2002, Yin and Lazar 2005). |
| (summation) | [BlackBoxEvent:9911570] Rora,b,c positivley regulates and Nr1d1 (Rev-erba) negatively regulates expression of Bmal1 (Arntl) [Mus musculus] |
