Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | In response to depolarization of the inner membrane or apoptotic stimulus, OMA1 cleaves itself to yield an activated form, S-OMA1, which is then degraded (Baker et al. 2014, Zhang et al. 2014). The response of OMA1 to depolarization requires an N-terminal hydrophobic region of OMA1 and an adjacent positively charged region (Baker et al. 2014). Cleavage occurs between residues 443 and 452 of the mouse OMA1 (Zhang et al. 2014). The activated OMA1 cleaves OPA1 to regulate mitochondrial fusion (Baker et al. 2014, Zhang et al. 2014). |
