Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | Sox1 is expressed at a low level in both anterior and posterior neural plate (Pevny et al. 1998, Wood and Episkopou 1999, Uchikawa et al. 2011, Iwafuchi-Doi et al. 2012), with expression in posterior neural plate very slightly higher (Iwafuchi-Doi et al. 2012). Expression then greatly increases in the posterior neural tube and anterior neural plate (Uchikawa et al. 2011). In embryonic stem cells, Znf521 binds the Sox1 gene and enhances its expression (Kamiya et al. 2011). Pou3f1 also enhances expression of Sox1 in mouse embryonic stem cells, though binding of Pou3f1 to the Sox1 gene has not been demonstrated (Zhu et al. 2014). |
