Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

textThe Eyes absent homolog1 (Eya1) is expressed and specifies metanephric mesenchyme (also called blastema) (Kalatzis et al. 1998, Sajithlal et al. 2005). Odd skipped related 1 (Osr1, also called Odd1) activates expression of Eya1 in the metanephric mesenchyme (James et al. 2006). Mice that are mutant for Osr1 do not express detectable Eya1, indicating an absolute requirement for Osr1 (James et al. 2006). The Osr1 mutants also have abnormalities of the nephric duct and mesonephros, and fail to form metanephric mesenchyme (James et al. 2006). Mice lacking Eya1 fail to form kidneys (Xu et al. 1999).
