Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

textERF66 and ERF67, are directly transcriptionally up-regulated by SUB1A-1 under submergence and overexpression of ERF66 or ERF67 leads to activation of anaerobic survival genes and enhanced submergence tolerance (PMID: PMID: 30723146). Thus, ERF66, ERF67 and SUB1A-1 contribute to submergence tolerance using quiescence responses for survival during prolonged submergence. SUB1A-1 functions as a “master regulator,” coordinating the quiescence responses. Not all rice varieties have SUB1A functional allele. the O. sativa japponica cultivars fo not have Sub1A gene and thus, this gene is abssent in the rice reference genome (RAP & MSU databasess). Submergence-intolerant cultivars, such as Swarna and IR64, lack SUB1A-1 or have the SUB1A-2 allele, which is inactive as a result of a point mutation within the coding region. Introgression or overexpression of SUB1A-1 into the Swarna and IR64 lines confers significant submergence tolerance.
