Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

textTBX3 binds to the promoter of the CDH1 gene to repress its transcription as assessed by electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA), chromatin immunoprecipitation, reporter gene assays and RT-PCR (Rodriguez et al, 2008). AKT3-dependent phosphorylation of TBX3 promotes its nuclear localization, enhances its repression activity towards CDH1 and may increase its DNA binding affinity (Peres et al, 2015; Peres et al, 2021). TBX3 is overexpressed in melanoma and contributes to its migration and invasiveness, in part through regulation of CDH1 expression (Boyd et al, 2013; Peres and Prince 2013; Peres et al, 2010; Peres et al, 2017; reviewed in Khan et al, 2020).
