Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

textE. coli heat-labile enterotoxin (LT) is secreted from the periplasm by the type II secretion system (T2SS) (Tauschek et al, 2002; Mudrak & Kuehn, 2010; Reichow et al, 2011; Horstman & Kuehn, 2012; Lu et al, 2016). The main and characteristic part of the T2SS in double-walled prokaryotes is a transporter complex that spans from the plasma membrane to the cell outer membrane. Its structural core consists of the anchor GspC2, located on the periplasmic side of the plasma membrane, bound to the outer membrane secretin, a pore complex consisting of fifteen units of GspD2 and fifteen units of GspS2. For the moving parts, T2SS has been proposed to assemble a filamentous structure termed “pseudopilus” to push exoproteins through the secretin channel, acting as a piston (Nivaskumar & Francetic, 2014; Yin et al, 2018).
