textIn the developing testis, the Ptgds gene is transcribed to yield mRNA and the mRNA is translated to yield Ptgds protein (Wilhelm et al. 2007, Moniot et al. 2009, Li et al. 2014). Transcription of Ptgds is directly activated by Sox9 during testis differentiation (Wilhelm et al. 2007, Moniot et al. 2009, Li et al. 2014).
