textSry and Nr5a1 (SF1) bind several sites in the TES enhancer upstream of the Sox9 coding region (Zediko and Lovell-Badge 2008, Gonen et al. 2018). Sry also binds the Enh13 enhancer upsteam of TES, with the binding to Enh13 stronger than the binding to TES (Gonen et al. 2018).
