Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

textHuman zinc finger CCHC-type and RNA-binding motif-containing protein 1 (ZCRB1, also known as MADP1) binds to the 5'UTR of the plus strand genomic RNA of the SARS-CoV-1, as well as other coronaviruses, infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) and human coronavirus OC43. ZCRB1 normally localizes to the nucleus, where it is a component of the U12-type spliceosome. Upon infection with a coronavirus, ZCRB1 appears in the cytosol. Binding of ZCRB1 to the 5'UTR stem of coronavirus genomic RNA is thought to be necessary for efficient transcription of viral genes (Tan et al. 2012).
