Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

textThe cysteinyl-leukotrienes (cys-LTs) are potent smooth muscle contractile agents mediating bronchoconstriction. Examples are LTC4, LTD4 and LTE4. There are two human cys-LT receptors, 1 (Lynch KR et al, 1999) and 2 (Heise CE et al, 2000). They mediate their effects via coupling to the G protein alpha q/11 subunit (Sarau HM et al, 1999). However, signalling downstream LTC4-cysLTR binding has been associated with the production of IL4, independent of the GPCR associated heterotrimeric protein Gq (Bandeira Melo et al. 2002).
