Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

textThe perilipin 1 (PLIN1) gene is transcribed to yield mRNA and the mRNA is translated to yield protein. Liver X receptors (LXRα, NR1H2,3) up-regulate basal human adipocyte lipolysis partially through NR1H2,3 binding to the PLIN1 promoter and down-regulation of PLIN1 expression (Stenson BM et al. 2011). By selective knockdown of either NR1H2 or NR1H3, NR1H3 was found to be the major isoform mediating the lipolysis-related effects of NR1H2,3. The Reactome event of NR1H2,3-regulated expression of PLIN1 is inferred from the analogous event regulated by a synthetic NR1H2,3 agonist GW3965 (Stenson BM et al. 2011).
