Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

commentFUNCTION Substrate recognition subunit of an ECS (Elongin BC-CUL2/5-SOCS-box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins (PubMed:15601820). ECS(LRR1) ubiquitinates MCM7 and promotes CMG replisome disassembly by VCP and chromatin extraction during S-phase (By similarity). May negatively regulate the 4-1BB-mediated signaling cascades which result in the activation of NK-kappaB and JNK1 (PubMed:11804328).PATHWAY Protein modification; protein ubiquitination.SUBUNIT Component of the probable ECS(LRR1) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex which contains CUL2, RBX1, Elongin BC complex and LRR1. Interacts with CUL2, RBX1, ELOB and ELOC.INTERACTION Ubiquitous. Maximal expression was seen in the heart and skeletal muscle and minimal expression seen in the kidney.SEQUENCE CAUTION Extended N-terminus.
