Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

textAxial elements begin assembling as short linear segments along the long axis of the chromosome in leptotene phase. Eventually the short segments will fuse to form the complete axial element. After synapsis the axial elements are also known as lateral elements of the synaptonemal complex. Within axial elements the sister chromatids are bound together by meiotic cohesin (Pezzi et al. 2000, Prieto et al. 2001, Pelttari et al. 2001, Lee et al. 2003, Prieto et al. 2004, Xu et al. 2004, Parra et al. 2004, James et al. 2002, . The bound chromatids are anchored to a complex containing Sycp2 and Sycp3 via a direct or indirect interaction with cohesin (Yuan et al. 2000, Liebe et al. 2004, Yang et al. 2006) .
