Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | G-Protein Coupled Receptors (GPCR) sense extracellular signals and activate different Guanine nucleotide binding proteins. Upon activation, the Guanine nucleotide-binding protein subunit alpha-12 (GNA12) can bind to Ras GTPase-activating protein 2 (RASA2, GAP1m) in vitro and in vivo. In this complex, GNA12 triggers RASA2 activation. RASA2 is a RasGAP and can inhibit the Ras signal transduction by accelerating the GTPase activity of Ras. |
| (summation) | [Reaction:8964261] RASA2 in G alpha (12)-RASA2 complex is activated [Homo sapiens] |
