Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | Based on homology of the C-terminal lumenal domains of ATF6 and ATF6B, ATF6B is inferred to interact with HSPA5 (BiP, GRP78) and dissociate from HSPA5 as HSPA5 binds unfolded protein. The release of HSPA5 from ATF6B allows ATF6B to transit from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi where it is activated by cleavage. Deletion of the C-terminal domain of ATF6B causes increased production of membrane proteins, possibly due to constitutive transit of the N-terminal domain to the nucleus (Choi et al. 2025). |
