Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | Cyclic-GMP-dependent phosphodiesterase 6 (Pde6) is a membrane-associated enzyme consisting of two catalytic subunits and two auto-inhibitory (PDE-gamma) subunits. Binding of activated transducin alpha subunit (Gnat1-GTP) to one PDE-gamma causes a conformational change of the key inhibitory C-terminal domain of the latter that relieves the inhibition on the associated catalytic subunit. Two Gnat1-GTP molecules are able to bind to Pde6 (Guo & Ruoho 2008, Baehr et al. 1979, Catty et al. 1992, Deterre et al. 1988, Fung & Stryer 1981, Hurley & Stryer 1982, Sitaramayya et al. 1986). |
