Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

textCardiotrophin-like cytokine factor 1 (CLCF1 also referred as NNT1 or BSF3) binds to the tripartite CNTFR complex and activates Jak-STAT, MAPK and PI3/Akt signaling pathways in various cell systems. Function of CLCF1 includes neurotrophic and B cell stimulatory effects, as well as neuroimmunoendocrine modulation of corticotroph function. Cellular secretion of CLCF1 requires heteromeric complex formation with other IL-6 family member cytokine receptor-like factor 1 (CRLF1 also called CLF1). It is a secreted receptor belonging to the interleukin-6 family of cytokines. This heteromeric CRLF1:CLCF1 is a stable sectreted complex that acts as a second ligand for ciliary neurotrophic factor receptor (CNTFR) tripartite receptor complex (Elson et al. 2000, Vlotides et al. 2004).
