Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

textThe MT1G gene is inducible by zinc, copper, and cadmium (Sadhu and Gedamu 1988, Jahroudi et al. 1990, Bagheri et al. 2009) and metal response elements of the MT1G promoter are responsible for its induction by metals (Foster and Gedamu 1991, Joshi et al. 2005). In response to zinc the MREs of MT1G bind a nuclear factor (Foster and Gedamu 1991, Samson et al. 1995) later shown to be the MTF1:zinc complex (Joshi et al. 2005), which transactivates transcription. The MT1G promoter also contains a binding site for E2F which is responsible for induction of MT1G by VEGF (Foster and Gedamu 1991).
