Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | The MT3 gene is transcribed to yield mRNA which is translated to yield protein. Expression of MT3 increases in response to zinc (Wei et al. 2008), cadmium (Juang et al. 2013), and hypoxia (Wang et al. 2008), Schulkens et al. 2014).Overexpression of MT3 causes increased proliferation and invasiveness of prostate cancer cells (Juang et al. 2013) and is associated with non-small cell carcinoma (Werynska et al. 2013). Though initially considered brain-specific, MT3 was found to be expressed in several other tissues (Moleirinho et al. 2011), including the proximal tubule of the kidney (Kim et al. 2002), peripheral blood lymphocytes (Vandeghinste et al. 2000), and skin (Slusser et al. 2014). |
