FUNCTION Has antimicrobial activity. Synergistic effects with lysozyme and DEFB103.SUBCELLULAR LOCATION High expression in the testis. Gastric antrum exhibited relatively high levels. A lower expression is observed in uterus and neutrophils thyroid gland, lung, and kidney.
