Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | Slc1a1 encodes an excitatory amino-acid carrier 1 (Eaac1 aka GTRAP3-18) and is abundant particularly in brain but also in liver, muscle, ovary, testis and in retinoblastoma cell lines. In the kidney, Eaac1 is present at apical membranes of proximal tubes. PRA1 family protein 3 (Arl6ip5 aka ADP-ribosylation factor-like protein 6-interacting protein 5) is a microtuble-associated protein that is able to regulate intracellular concentrations of glutamate as well as tuarine. It negatively regulates Eaac1 by decreasing its affinity for glutamate (L-Glu) (Lin et al. 2001). |
| (summation) | [Reaction:5250226] Eaac1 exchanges L-Glu, H+ and 3Na+ for K+ [Rattus norvegicus] |
