Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | Once neural Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein (WASL, N-WASP) is activated its VCA region becomes available for binding to actin-related protein (ARP2/3) complex and actin monomer. The actin monomer binds to the V-domain and ARP2/3 complex binds to the CA-domain. The simultaneous binding of G-actin and the ARP2/3 complex to the VCA region contributes to the activation of ARP2/3-complex-mediated actin polymerization (Takenawa & Suetsugu 2007). Actin polymerization via N-WASP and the ARP2/3 complex leads to spherical expansion of dendritic spine heads. |
