Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | Phosphorylation of the eukaryotic intiation factor 4E binding protein 1 (eIF4E-BP1) promotes its dissociation from eIF4E bound to the mRNA 7-methylguanosine cap structure, allowing for recruitment of eIF4G and eIF4A. These latter two along with eIF4E are often referred to as the eIF4F complex. eIF3 complex, eIF1, eIF1A, 40S ribosomal subunits, and the ternary complex (eIF2:Met-tRNA:GTP) are also recruited to the cap, resulting in the assembly of the translation preinitiation complex (PIC). |
