Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

literatureReference[LiteratureReference:372997] Regulation of WASP/WAVE proteins: making a long story short
textRac1 activated in response to the integrin signaling stimulates the activation of Arp2/3 complex. Activation of Rac is relayed to Arp2/3 via Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome proteins (WASPs). Five WASP family proteins exist in mammals- WASP, N-WASP and three WASP family verprolin homologous (WAVE) proteins. WAVE proteins play a major role in Rac-induced actin dynamics. WAVE-1 exists as a pentameric complex, which includes p53 inducible messanger RNA (PIR121), Nck-associated protein (Nap1), Abl-interactor (Abi) and HSPC300. On stimulation this pentameric complex is recruited to the Rac1.
