Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

literatureReference[LiteratureReference:199205] Identification of the alpha-aminoadipic semialdehyde dehydrogenase-phosphopantetheinyl transferase gene, the human ortholog of the yeast LYS5 gene
textCytosolic AASDHPPT (alpha-aminoadipic semialdehyde dehydrogenase-phosphopantetheinyl transferase) catalyzes the transfer of a phosphopantetheine moiety from coenzyme A to serine 2156 within the ACP domain of FAS (fatty acyl synthase). Only a single human enzyme with phosphopantetheinyl transferase activity has been identified, and its broad substrate specificity suggests that it may be responsible as well for the postranslational modification of enzymes of lysine catabolism (Joshi et al. 2003; Praphanphoj et al. 2001).
