Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | 25(S) THCA-CoA and O2 react to form 3alpha,7alpha,12alpha-trihydroxy-5beta-cholest-24-enoyl-CoA (THCA-CoA) and H2O2. This dehydrogenation reaction occurs in the peroxisomal matrix. It is catalyzed by the FAD-containing peroxisomal enzyme branched chain acyl-CoA oxidase (ACOX2). The enzyme transfers electrons to molecular oxygen and hydrogen peroxide is produced as a byproduct. |
| (summation) | [Reaction:192335] 25(S) THCA-CoA is dehydrogenated to 3alpha,7alpha,12alpha-trihydroxy-5beta-cholest-24-enoyl-CoA (THCA-CoA) [Homo sapiens] |
