Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

commentFUNCTION Probable transcriptional regulator that acts as a repressor of the gibberellin (GA) signaling pathway. No effect of the BOI proteins on its stability. Probably acts by participating in large multiprotein complexes that repress transcription of GA-inducible genes. Its activity may be regulated by phytohormones such as auxin and ethylene (By similarity).SUBUNIT Interacts directly with the GID2/SLY1 component of the SCF(GID2) complex, suggesting that it may be ubiquitinated. Interacts (via N-terminus) with GID1A, GID1B and GID1B (via N-terminus). Interacts with the BOI proteins BOI, BRG1, BRG2 and BRG3.INTERACTION Expressed at very low level. Mainly expressed in germinating seeds and flowers and siliques. Not expressed in other tissues.PTM Phosphorylated.PTM May be ubiquitinated.DISRUPTION PHENOTYPE Rga, gai, rgl1, rgl2 and rgl3 pentuple mutant displays constitutive GA responses even in the absence of GA treatment.SIMILARITY Belongs to the GRAS family. DELLA subfamily.
