Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

commentFUNCTION Cell cycle regulatory kinase that is not rate-limiting for cycle progression under normal growth conditions. Transcriptionally activated upon DNA stress or damage in an ATR- or ATM-dependent manner. Once activated, inhibits plant growth by arresting dividing cells in the G2 phase before proceeding into mitosis. Down-regulates CDKA-1 and CDKD-2 by tyrosine phosphorylation. May target principally CDKA-1.CATALYTIC ACTIVITY L-tyrosyl-[protein] + ATP = O-phospho-L-tyrosyl-[protein] + ADP + H(+)SUBUNIT Interacts with CDKA-1, but not with CDKB1-1.SUBCELLULAR LOCATION Expressed in shoot apex, vasculatures tissues of roots and leaves, and developing flowers.INDUCTION By replication blocking agents (hydroxyurea and aphidicolin).DISRUPTION PHENOTYPE Plants show no obvious cell division or endoreduplication phenotype when grown under nonstress conditions, but are hypersensitive to agents that impair DNA replication.SIMILARITY Belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. Ser/Thr protein kinase family. WEE1 subfamily.
