Query author contributions in Reactome
Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.
If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

| text | Rad51-like proteins have been identified in several eukaryotes and shown to have a role in meiotic recombination and/or homologous recombinational repair. XRCC3 RAD51, RAD51B and RAD51C are induced byionizing irradiation; they are expressed in actively dividing cells especially in reproductive tissue. The biochemical characteristics and biological function of the RAD-51 like genes remains to be demonstrated, sequence homology with other eukaryotes indicates that these genes may be responsible for the repair of damaged DNA caused by chemical and physical insults. |
