Query author contributions in Reactome

Reactome depends on collaboration between our curation team and outside experts to assemble and peer-review its pathway modules. The integration of ORCID within Reactome enables us to meet a key challenge with authoring, curating and reviewing biological information by incentivizing and crediting the external experts that contribute their expertise and time to the Reactome curation process. More information is available at ORCID and Reactome.

If you have an ORCID ID that is not listed on this page, please forward this information to us and we will update your Reactome pathway records.

commentFUNCTION Catalyzes the 3'-hydroxylation of the flavonoid B-ring to the 3',4'-hydroxylated state. Catalyzes in vitro 3'-hydroxylation of different flavonoids. Catalyzes the conversion of apigenin to luteolin, naringenin to eriodictyol, and kaempferol to quercetin. Possesses specific 5'-hydroxylase activity toward chrysoeriol (a 3'-methoxylated flavone) and is indispensable for tricin formation. Converts chrysoeriol to selgin, a precursor of tricin, suggesting that chrysoeriol, instead of tricetin, is an intermediate in tricin biosynthesis.CATALYTIC ACTIVITY a 3'-unsubstituted flavone + reduced [NADPH--hemoprotein reductase] + O2 = a 3'-hydroxyflavone + oxidized [NADPH--hemoprotein reductase] + H2O + H(+)COFACTOR Secondary metabolite biosynthesis; flavonoid biosynthesis.SUBCELLULAR LOCATION Belongs to the cytochrome P450 family.
